roommates
bloody shiite, i just concluded that $600 a month for a one bedroom isn't very feasible for next year, and the cheaper one bedrooms would only marginally improve my finances while stripping away all the best amenities (free cable, washer/dryer, etc.)
dammit.
i rekon i'll have to invest some time in tracking down a responsible non-slobbish roommate for the 2004-2005 school year. i think i'll focus on the opposite sex, cause 99% of dudes are slobs by nature. there's 14 people listed on wwu's off campus housing registry, most of them female. i want an awesome townhouse.
yeehaw.
the numbers (a conservative estimate):
600 Rent
30 DSL
40 Cable TV
100 Food
20 Electricity
45 Cellular Telephone
10 Local Telephone
---
845 Monthly Total
* 9
---
7605 Yearly Total
15009 Financial Aid for 2004-2005
7605 Housing and food and whatnot
4446 Tuition
780 Books and Supplies
-----
2178 Leftovers
/ 9
-----
242 Monthly leftovers
